I've had an interesting life, or lives it sometimes feels like! A formal first career in the UK NHS, an informal second career in IT. Mix in 10 years in motorsport and several years in the British T.A. (like the US National Guard). I never read to my kids at bedtime, instead I made up different stories for them each night, Later with my second-time-around partner and soulmate, we couldn't afford holidays (or have time away from our respective children), so I would tell her stories of where we *might* have gone - and what we *could* have done! After that, the writing developed naturally; I just needed a reduced workload to manage it all and, what do you know, COVID strikes.
