Marc Foxx was born and raised in the American Midwest. He taught in the United States and overseas before beginning a career in law enforcement. He spent over three years studying, working, and living in Japan.
Foxx used his extensive experience in law enforcement and from living in Japan to craft this novel. In many ways, the main character, Jacob Raburn, is an amalgamation of the author and a fictitious character. Foxx is working on several future novels, many of which will continue to reflect his personal life experiences.
