“But I am an artist too, and therefore a liar. Distrust everything I say. I am telling the truth.” – Ursula K LeGuin

I am fascinated by the power of words and wish to share this fascination with you. I worked for many years as a writer of non-fiction, always carefully researching my articles to try to find the truth and present it in an open-minded way.

With my new novels, I present truth in a different way – through art. How can we tell what is true or not? Maybe once you read my works, you can decide…

My books could loosely be called sci-fi as they are set in imaginary worlds closely resembling a near-future version of our own world. However, the focus is not so much on the science but on the people in the stories, and their relationships to one another and to their environment. These relationships are fluid; they change every time a new person reads the story, as you, the reader, enter into your own relationship with the characters.

My biggest literary influence is Ursula K LeGuin, and any fans of her fiction will probably enjoy my work. Other fiction inspirations are JRR Tolkien, CS Lewis, Philip K Dick and Orson Scott Card. I also play with mythological and psychological themes based in part from my studies of Joseph Campbell and CG Jung, as well as my explorations into Peace, and Conflict Resolution.

Come join me on adventures through the fertile forest of my mind, as we explore themes of freedom, trust and apocalyptic visions… You are welcome…
