Rose, a chef from London, is a very ordinary girl. Short, shy and a bit awkward, the only thing she's ever been good at is cooking. She dreams of opening her own restaurant one day, so she can share her love of food with other ordinary people who love to eat.

But when she almost kills a famous restaurant critic, her boss fires her. Then Rose goes home and her flat mate tells her Rose has to leave because the flat mate's new boyfriend is moving in.

Rose doesn't know what to do next. So she does what any ordinary girl would do if she'd been fired and made homeless all at once - she runs away to Paris.

In Paris, she meets Hollywood movie star, Joel Bennett. The last thing Rose expects - or wants - is to fall in love. And the very last person she can imagine falling in love with is Joel Bennett. They're just too different from each other:

Joel's a famous actor with millions in the bank and an enormous house in LA. Rose is a penniless cook who can barely afford to pay her rent.
Joel's a fitness freak with a personal trainer and a clean eating regime. Rose refuses to run for the bus and has never met a toasted sandwich she didn't like.
Joel has been voted "Sexiest Man Alive" and gets loads of attention everywhere he goes. Rose is ignored and underestimated.

THEY SEEM LIKE THEY HAVE NOTHING IN COMMON. THEY COME FROM VERY DIFFERENT WORLDS. THEIR FRIENDS AND FAMILIES WOULD NOT GET ON. NO ONE UNDERSTANDS WHY THEY SHOULD BE TOGETHER.

But as they spend time together, they come to realise they are perfect for each other.

They each know they've found their person. They know that their love is real.
