Darla was born on June 25, 1980 and lives in Toledo, Ohio with her husband, cat, and dog. She is a collector of horse knickknacks, tea, paper, and pens. Her favorite tea is Earl Grey-and she drinks a lot of it while writing. She has always dreamed of writing since she was a little girl sitting on her Papa's knee listening to his stories. Her first two books were written in 2004, self-published in 2012, and were taken down in 2017. Darla has since published her third book, The Psychopath's Prisoner, in 2015 and is preparing her next book by the end of 2018. She has three books in the works and is starting a series. In her spare time, Darla reads, listens to music, and loves the Detroit Tigers.
