About the author

Julie Golston

Julie Golston is a Danish author who brings authentic Scandinavian perspectives to her work. Born and raised in Denmark, she grew up surrounded by the stories and landscapes that inspired Norse mythology.

With a Master's in Organizational Leadership and a background in advocacy and community development, Julie approaches storytelling with both depth and purpose. Her diverse writing spans from practical wisdom in Things I Want My Daughter to Know About Dating to scholarly exploration and bold re-imaginings of Norse mythology.

Julie's work reflects her belief that ancient stories hold contemporary truths. In her mythology books, she explores themes of power, transformation, and consciousness—asking not just what these tales meant to our ancestors, but what they reveal about our choices today.

Currently living in the United States, Julie draws on her Danish heritage and American experiences to bridge cultures through storytelling. When not writing, she can be found working in community advocacy or exploring the California wilderness that has become her second home.

At the Well of Urd and Norns: Weavers of Fate in Nordic Mythology showcase her evolution from traditional mythological scholarship to philosophical fiction that challenges our understanding of gods, power, and reality itself.
