Do you want to slash your energy bills to near-zero while creating a supremely comfortable home?

This book follows my journey from dream to reality in building a passive house. As someone who's lived this experience, I'll show you why the most sustainable energy is the energy you never need to use.

Forget the myths you've heard:

  • Passive houses cost too much (they pay for themselves)
  • You can't open windows (you can, you just won't need to)
  • You need to wear warm clothes inside (I walk barefoot year-round)
  • You can't have a fireplace (you absolutely can)
  • The ventilation creates drafts (proper design ensures comfort)

Based on proven German engineering principles, I'll show you what actually matters - from selecting the right property and architects to achieving that crucial airtight certification.

You'll learn why careful planning and quality control are non-negotiable, and how to avoid costly mistakes that could compromise your home's performance.

Born under the sign of Aquarius in the Year of the Dragon, I am a visionary by nature, with my Capricorn ascendant keeping me grounded in reality.

While born in the Czech Republic, my roots are German. I studied German philology, psychology, and philosophy in Germany, focusing on Czech-German relations. My professional journey began at University. Afterwards for many years, I worked as a business consultant and project manager in corporations, flying over 200 times a year at the peak of my corporate career.

I appreciate excellent company, fine dining, and good drinks in pleasant surroundings. You'll find me readily accepting invitations to golf, rum tastings, or cigar appreciation events.

I admire wisdom, strength, and beauty - especially when they come together in perfect harmony, like in the mystical Solomon's Temple. This appreciation for harmonious integration influences everything I do, from home design to life choices.

My life philosophy is simple: "I am the creator of my own life." "Flow" for me is that divine current where I align with higher power, creating with ease and joy. It's where synchronicities happen and divine timing manifests. I embrace these moments as miracles and remain grateful for each one.
