Edwin Hayes has always lived a simple, quiet little life. But that life is turned upside down when he meets a group of creatures he thought only existed in stories, and those creatures are out for blood. Fighting for his life, Edwin quickly realizes that one of them is not like the others.

Damascus, a tall, almost handsome vampire, is the polar opposite of Edwin: he’s cunning, witty, and confident, and despite being the mastermind of his group and Edwin’s captor, his attraction to Edwin grows by the day.
