Award winning Scottish author, D A Nelson (Dawn) lives near Loch Lomond with two boisterous kids who are not impressed by her authorly outpourings and three small dogs who aren't either. Never-the-less she still prevails and has added adult books to her burgeoning writing career. Now, in addition to her exciting kids fantasy series, Darkisle, and non fiction book, A Children's History of Glasgow, she has Dusting Down Alcudia, the first in a series of pacy romantic adventures starring a feisty female archaeologist, her sexy American rival and her hunky Spanish ex. And there's also her dark comedy, Everything She Wants, which was inspired by Dawn's love of Wham and secret early desire to join a tribute band. Although Dawn believes she can hold a tune and would make a great addition to a Wham tribute, her kids assure her (whilst covering their ears as she belts out Wake Me Up Before You Go Go) this is not the case. It doesn't stop her singing. In fact, the more they complain, the louder she gets.
