The author was born in 1952 in Evanston Illinois. He has a BA and a Masters and has worked as an English teacher for over twenty-five years in Asia (mainland China) and the Middle East (Oman and Saudi Arabia). Along with languages, current events, and random incursions into philosophy, he is interested in the intersections of biblical Christian teachings and contemporary social issues. Except for occasional verses for study purposes, all Bible quotations are from the King James Version of the Bible.
