Layla was determined to live her dream of being a famous author.Forty-two, happily single, and childless by choice, she was making a huge push to finally add an extra title to her name. Committed only to her work and to herself, she hardly had time for her beloved friends, let alone men.

After years on stage, Henry was enjoying his new career path as a voice over actor. He also enjoyed the ladies but his time acting jaded him on the idea of a relationship. But at forty-four, the revolving door of women was getting old.

He and Layla had a simple, fun, and strictly platonic relationship since she moved in three years ago, so he was more than willing to help.
