Alan’s Bio

After selling a small specialty bakery and three coffee shops that were owned and operated in South America, Alan decided to relocate back to the U.S. in 1985. 

With interests in racquetball, building recumbent bikes, an avid coffee enthusiast, dark chocolate aficionado,  photography, reading, public speaking, voice-over, acting, speaking to anything or anyone who will stand still, and writing. After more than 40 years of accumulated content, it’s time to publish some.

Returning to Ecuador has been the dream for Alan and his wife for 30 years, and is now complete.

Married for 45 years has resulted in a family of four sons with 13 grandchildren, ranging in ages from 3 years old to the first teenager at 17.
