Blair Bennett, a naive housewife, gets more than she bargains for when she shows up at a tattoo parlor on the seedy part of town and gets "accidentally" branded with the words QUEEN OF SPADES on her lower back.

To make matters worse, poor Blair soon attracts the attention of an older black man who lives in her condominium. He likes Blair's new tattoo quite a lot. He doesn't care that Blair is already married. A few skimpy bathing suits later, and Blair starts to explore dark urges which lead her to a new and exciting life as a true Queen of Spades.
