C. K. Prothro is the author of the Dark Solar System Series, an anthology of the future. He has been writing Sci-fi/thriller and Horror stories as a hobby since the 1970s. C. K. Prothro has a considerable body of unpublished work that he plans on turning into the Dark Solar System Series. He is an emeritus professor of geology at an upstate New York Community College and semi-retired. He has also been a visiting and adjunct lecturer at several other colleges in Central New York. C.K. Prothro has taught a multitude of physical science courses, ranging from Physical, Historical, and Environmental Geology, Natural Hazards and Disasters, and Oceanography to Astronomy, Physical and Planetary Sciences, Environmental Science, Environmental Technology, and Environmental Policy.
