The other half of a mother-and-son author team, Aidan Davies wrote Rebels of Halklyen, The God Sword and The White Wolf, a young adult fantasy trilogy, with his mother Paula Baker. He grew up in British Columbia reading Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings and Ranger’s Apprentice and playing Assassin’s Creed and Legends of Zelda. He and Paula planned their first book while jumping on the trampoline on the first day of summer holidays after his grade nine year. After attending the University of British Columbia, he earned a degree in mathematics. During the day, he analyzes data while at least part of his brain continues to develop the fantasy worlds where their stories take place. The partnership with his mother works well because not only have they hiked the same trails and skied the same mountains, they have read the same books, played the same video games and seen the same movies. He lives in British Columbia, Canada.
