I am, Blackstone, Jessica Blackstone. Arrested, beaten and left for dead I make a journey of survival. The beautiful vistas can sometimes be deadly especially near cliff edges. My spirit journey to the unknown worlds seems to be more dangerous than being in a dirt bike chase around the Grand Canyon. Caught between worlds, I barely come back to this one. What does it all mean?

Captain Sue Graves is still at large. A party in the bay and a swim with a Great White Shark. FBI sniffs around my yacht. A night at the Florida Powerboat Club party and I meet the man of my dreams. Every time I close my eyes I see the men I was contracted to kill. Spending a year in Quantico is suppose to prepare me to lead troops when I go to Syria for my first tour of duty. It is easier to do spy missions as on tour I will be responsible for those serving under me.

They show me what it will be like as a woman in the Muslim country of Syria, but I thought wars were fought to get rid of oppression not bring it back here to the US. Hardest part about doing my duty is not having a comrade blow up in my face, it is not being there at my husband's funeral. Don't get me wrong, but I love being a soldier. Not sure why I am trusted with so much responsibility, I will just have to do what is asked of me and hope that I can do my country proud.

As a lieutenant in the Marines I should have command, but I do grunt work like cleaning the latrines. Syria is not a place for a female officer and I am treated less than a dog, dogs are hated but I am liked less. It has been six months since I heard anything from command at the base in Damascus. Doing patrols between Iraq and Syria, I am left at the side of the road to Damascus. My friends, Sergeant Lucy Lin and Sergeant Lilly Lin, I have not heard from in more than a month.

What I find in Damascus is troubling and the recovery of our base is nearly impossible. I believe that I did not do enough to get promoted to Captain, but I am not going to argue with command nor give back the purple heart. On my way to Area 51 I am brought to Area 49. So many things I am shown here and so many things that I do not understand. Why is there a Mars simulator? Why is an Alien angry with me? What am I being prepared for? So many questions, little answers. A Mars mission and a Venus mission, why? What is element 115? I fly a fighter jet and a flying saucer, but to everyone in the world it did not happen.
