I am a professional counsellor and trainer, working in the charitable sector. After I sustained an injury I kept myself sane by doing an online course with the Open University. From then on, I was hooked on writing.
'The Boatman's Daughter', set in the early 1970s, was written to show how different attitudes were then, especially for women. Imogen is a strong character and has to make the right choices.
'Live a Little' takes a character from the first book: a strait-laced housewife, who decides to change her life by joining a commune in France. She learns to assert herself and to reconsider her attitude to alternative lifestyles.
Watch out for 'Diana's Story' which joins a little girl from 'Live a Little' as she grows up and investigates her family. She has to make choices about family loyalty.
