About the author

Margaret Brazear

i was born and raised in London, England and have studied English history for over fifty years. My favourite period was the time between Henry VIII's break with Rome to the Protestant regime of his only son, Edward VI and the Catholic fanatacism of his sister, Mary I, who reigned 1553 - 1558.

England's past is a fascinating place, full of plagues and wars but attitudes were very different from ours. A lot of that past took place in England's capital and my birthplace, London, so I often feel an affinity with the sites of important events.

I hae always wanted to write; I have a wealth of stories in my head, just longing to find their way onto the page into the hands of my readers.
