Michael Estrin grew up in Los Angeles, fled, and returned.
His short stories have appeared at Akashic and Out of the Gutter. His creative nonfiction has been published by Narratively, Vox, and Tablet. Like the ashes of a Viking warrior dispatched to Valhalla, Michael's journalism is scattered all over the Web.
Murder and Other Distractions is his first novel. Ride/Share, a collection of micro stories, is a work of creative nonfiction.
Michael lives in Los Angeles with his wife, Christina, and their dog, Mortimer.
