Brad Townsend is the author of the Gay Contemporary Epic Fantasy series The Order (https://books2read.com/u/baGvGy).  Taking nearly five years to write, The Order is a multi-genre Epic Fantasy series of six books, taking place in modern America, that goes far beyond a simple tale of good versus evil.  It is a tale of discovery, exploration, and growth, that takes the reader along the journey of the characters. 


Brad has a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts: Drawing and Painting, an Associate Degree in Computer Science, and is one semester away from attaining a Cardiovascular Tech degree.  Born into a military family, Brad traveled the United States extensively while growing up.  Currently, he lives in Flowery Branch, GA with his father and two rescue cats (Max and Boomer).


Born in 1963, while growing up, Brad voraciously read comic books and Science-Fiction/Fantasy.  He is a Tolkien fanatic, and tends to prefer High Fantasy, but loves both genres.  As a single gay man, Brad wrote The Order as a series he would want to read.  The Order is an Epic Fantasy story where the main characters are adult men who happen to be gay, and while there are adult themes, it is not M/M erotica, or a YA Coming of Age story.


Brad is an independent self-published author and hopes The Order will eventually get picked up by a traditional publisher.  He is currently writing a sequel to The Order entitled The Gifts.
