Kathleen Ferguson-Huntington

Artist Kathleen Ferguson-Huntington, MA, MFA is an accomplished artist, multi-media artist and writer. Kathleen has been included in many exhibitions nationally and internationally. This included the Whitney Biennial of Contemporary American Art. In 2020 she exhibited “Zipper Mouth” in “Masks, Mirages, and the Morphic Morror” at the LondonBiennale. Ferguson-Huntington has received many grants and awards including ones from the Ford Motor Company and HSBC Bank International. Her artist in residences include: Sanskriti Foundation, Delhi, India, Bait Al Baranda Museum, Muscat, Oman, and Tyrone Guthrie Centre in the Republic of Ireland as well as others.

She spent twelve years in Doha, Qatar where she taught art and design at Virginia Commonwealth University Qatar and traveled extensively in Europe and Asia. Upon return to Taos, New Mexico, she finished a memoir started in the year2000. “Move Over Scheherazade Living With The GigaRich/Travels On The Silk Road is about Ferguson-Huntington’s time in the Middle East and her first book. She has just finished a second book, Wak-A-Delic Tales Fun Flash Fiction From The World Of Flora and Fauna. It will be published in the Fall of 2021.
