In a forest society that mirrors modern-day US political and social problems, toads have become the ruling class of amphibians over the frogs.

Toads have seized control of the government and the coffee bean trade in Liberty forest. Taxation, gun control, and censorship are the tools of their oppression- all in the midst of an amphibian virus pandemic.

In what started as just an opposition to taxation without representation and a loss of civil rights, Jouko and his fellow patriot frogs become the architects of a growing forest-wide defiance to authoritarianism.

Lief Olson is a self-published author and medical writer. He began writing his first novel "Welcome to Frogtown" while in medical school, and is the first volume in a series of full-length and short-story fantasy novels.
