Valerie Howard has been writing stories since she was in second grade when she wrote "The Mystery of the Missing Crayon." She lives in Maine with her husband and their two sons. She graduated from Sacopee Valley High School in Hiram, Maine and Piedmont Baptist College in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
