A family curse, a stolen pendant, and a daughter who is both hunter and prey

When a priceless heirloom, one of a trio of golden bird pendants designed and crafted more than five hundred years ago, disappears while on loan to a film production in Savannah, Georgia, suspicion falls on one of the movie stars.

Journalist Nevada Leacock agrees to help her father, and when the second of the antique gold pendants is stolen, she is pulled into a world of intrigue and danger. The search is on for the third treasure, which might lie somewhere under the Caribbean Sea, while museums in Florida and Spain frantically try to recover their lost property.
