The author lives with her sons, five dogs, two cats, potbellied pigs, chickens, rabbits, goats, and anything else that staggers through the front door.

She has been living a self sustaining lifestyle for years, even though her parents tell her that "The grocery store is less than a mile away."  Past jobs include, Illustrator, Search and Rescue, Water Safety Instructor, Restaurant owner, Nurse, EMT, Horse wrangler, Dog trainer, Outfitter, Artist, and Mink Poo shoveler.  She is currently working on a sequel and a couple of children's books based on more "mostly" true stories, with her sons.
