Grinding (action; gaming)
Performing a repetitive and time-consuming action before being able to advance....alternately considered an annoying waste of time or an enjoyable necessity, depending on the player's attitude.

What started out as a funny idea turned into a month-long documentation of Author-Grinding; 30 Short Stories, ranging in subject, inside of 30 Days corresponding with the month K. Stevens reached Level 30 in the game of life. Inside the covers, you'll find subjects ranging from a wonky detective story to a parody involving zombies.

Basically whatever I came up with during the month is what I wrote down, and then collected them all for your reading pleasure. At least there aren't any stories involving a giant carrot...at least, there won't be more than one.
