Cliff Burns has been an independent author and publisher for almost forty years. He has sixteen books to his credit, including So Dark the Night and Disloyal Son. His short stories and poems have appeared in scores of publications and anthologies around the world and he has also written for the radio and stage. In 2023, he produced a ten-part podcast on books and the writing life called "Standing At An Angle to the Universe" (available on Spotify, Podbean, etc.). Burns' writing has drawn comparisons to Jorge Luis Borges, William S. Burroughs and Philip K. Dick. He lives in western Canada with his wife, arist and educator Sherron Burns.
