Cynthia Lee De Boer’s career as an author, inspirational speaker, and disability advocate is fueled by her medical challenges, relationships, and work experiences. 

Her lifelong passion for writing is echoed through Anne Frank’s quote, “I can shake off everything as I write, my sorrows disappear, my courage is reborn.”

Cynthia’s first book Me, Myself and Eye, The Realities of Living With a Prosthetic Eye has been widely received as an honest and much-needed resource.  Cynthia believes having a disability does not make you less of a person; it makes you more of a human being.
