This book is about an African American kid who grew up in the tough streets of St. Louis and somehow ended up coaching tennis in Japan.

Then he ended up staying over here for more than 28 years.

My story has been one of struggle and success and more struggle, which I go into in the book.

I am transitioning my career, so I am excited about what the future holds for me.

Japan is a strange country in that, it's been westernized, but at the same time, it has remained closed to the outside world.

And that has been by design.

My goal with publishing this book is to help more foreigners mentally prepare for what to expect when they come here.

Because.

Many are facing culture shock the minute they get off the plane.

So, even though I was coaching tennis.

What I went through, is being experienced at and in all industries.

YES.

Working in Japan is a challenge and many don't stay that long because of it and this is why I am sharing my personal story with you in this book.
