George Rollie Adams
George Rollie Adams is a native of southern Arkansas and a former teacher with graduate degrees in history and education. Currently president and CEO emeritus of the Strong National Museum of Play, he has been a writer, editor, and program director at the American Association for State and Local History and director of the Louisiana State Museum. He is author of General William S. Harney: Prince of Dragoons (a finalist for the Army Historical Foundation's Distinguished Book Award), coauthor of Nashville: A Pictorial History, and coeditor of Ordinary People and Everyday Life: Perspectives on the New Social History.
