Just as she was opening her mouth, about to speak again, I felt the unmistakable sensation of a hand pressing against the meaty part of my thigh. I jumped, violently, in my chair, but the sensation didn't exactly fade. The touch was warm, heavy, very real. I found my widened gaze focusing on Sandra's slightly surprised face. I didn't dare try to look under the desk.
"I still think that's a real shame, Adrian-" My sudden spasm had obviously startled her, as she cut herself off and turned her head slightly to one side. "Are you okay?" Poor dear. She sounded actually concerned for me. I would have been touched if I weren't currently panicking.
"Leg cramp." I sounded strained, no doubt, but if that was my excuse I figured I could get away with that tone of voice. I forced a rigid smile onto my face, even as I could feel more movement beneath the cover of the desk. There was a more defined presence, that was for certain. A forearm rasped against my knee, as a second hand had joined the first and was now creeping dangerously close to my crotch.
