Born in South Africa, Amy moved to New Zealand in her mid-thirties. She first dreamed of writing a romance novel when she was seventeen - putting all her thoughts and ideas onto paper, with no idea of what she was doing - and soon she realised it was a bigger challenge than she'd anticipated. Setting her notebook on fire, she shelved the idea of ever becoming an author ... Until twenty years later.
