I shouldn't desire her, but as soon as she walked into my lecture hall, something inside me broke—a deep, acute hunger took hold of me and never left. So I test her. I question her when she least expects it. I challenge her, corner her with questions, watch her squirm under my gaze. I make her nervous on purpose—because I like to see the fear on her face.

I know I'm cruel. I know I go too far. But it's the only way I can touch her without touching her. She reacts to my voice as if it pierces her, her breath catches when I get too close. She thinks I hate her. I don't. I want her. I need her to be submissive, breathless, broken, and begging. But I can't have her. Not without consequences.

I know what she needs, even if she doesn't know it herself. And I'll break her until she knows she needs me too. Every moment she fights me is a moment I savor, because every little crack in her armor allows me to see the truth behind her defenses. She's mine. She just doesn't know it yet.
