What begins as an innocent meet-cute from an altercation in Piper's coffee shop quickly turns into both of their ghosts coming to haunt them with the past, pushing them into a storyline they never saw coming. Running from a leader of a Christian nationalist sect who now has Piper's name on his hit list, she has to decide if she will give into the magnetic pull of Saint, a man determined to keep her and her best friends' safe while fighting his own grief.
