Nine curses. Nine weeks to live.

When Joel Hatcher inherits his family legacy, he never could have prepared for the horrors he would unleash. Embroiled in a deadly curse that steadily ticks down to his demise, Joel is faced with the impossible task of unravelling the paranormal magic that runs through his family's blood – and curing himself before it's too late.

But each curse brings a new and terrible affliction, Joel knows that time is running out – and unless he can break the cycle, his younger brother is next in line…

Torn between her pity for Joel and her own deepest wish, the young spiritualist Madame Eugenie is hiding a dark secret. The vengeful spirit of her deceased husband whispers seductively in her ears, tempting her to bring him back from the dead – but she needs Joel's blood to do it.

As Joel and Madame Eugenie race against time to track down a cure for his curse and save his brother from a terrible fate, they begin to unravel the disturbing truth. Can Joel escape the supernatural forces dead-set on destroying his life? Or will an enemy from beyond the grave turn his only hope against him?
