Monica, who just celebrated her 70th birthday is spending the fall with her daughter’s family off the coast of Maine.

Since her husband died 10 years ago, she’s given up all hope of a new happily ever after and tells herself she’s content just being grandma to two beautiful boys.

Intrigued, Monica sets out to make friends with the reclusive and crotchety Benjamin, who just so happens to be the only man who can save the cafe from its fate.
