Geri L. Dreiling is the author of "Erasing the Past." In late spring 2019, her second novel, "Crime Beat Girl," will be published. It is the first book in a series of mystery novels featuring journalist Debbie Bradley.

Dreiling is an award-winning journalist, professor, and lawyer. Her narrative journalism article about juvenile delinquent girls was featured in the anthology, "Notes from the Underground: The Most Outrageous Stories from the Alternative Press."

The mother of two adult kids, Dreiling lives in St. Louis with her husband and a Yorkie named Bella.
