Eugenio Magdalena is an Economist (UCAB Caracas, 1979), a Post-graduated Diploma in Marketing (Strathclyde University, Glasgow, Scotland, UK, 1981),  and an MBA (Cranfield, England, UK, 1982).

He developed a career of 25 years in the Insurance industry, which took him to Spain (twice), Bogota (Colombia), the USA twice), Buenos Aires (Argentina), Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro ( Brazi)l and Panama. In this last country, in 2011 he suffered a car accident of which he resulted hemiplegic, being confined ever since to a wheelchair.
