Ray Floyd was born and raised in South Africa. He studied at the University of Natal (Durban) where he minored in Language & Communication. He is a veteran of the Angolan bush-war and is well-versed in Modern Warfare Weapons & Tactics.

Floyd moved to Las Vegas NV in 1992 but didn't pursue a writing career until 2016. POETIC JUSTICE is his debut novel.
Ray Floyd is married with two children and his interests include sailing, flying, swimming and reading. Given his aversion to cold weather, he divides his time between his homes in Las Vegas and South Africa.
