Brenda J. Webb
Born on a farm in Cullman, Alabama, I proudly admit to being a country girl and after years of living in the city I have finally achieved my dream of going back to my roots. My husband and I now reside on a three acre mini-farm, sporting a large vegetable garden, grape arbors, a flock of chickens and numerous rescued dogs and cats.
Before my obsession with all things Jane Austen, I spent most of my career as a full-charge bookkeeper and administrative assistant to the president of a CPA firm. Now retired, I enjoy spending time with family and friends and indulging my love of storytelling.
Always a voracious reader and a closet writer, I rediscovered Jane Austen books after watching the 2005 Pride and Prejudice movie. Searching for everything relating to Miss Austen, I eventually stumbled into the world of fan fiction. After reading other people's stories, I decided to try my hand at writing a tale that kept coming to mind. By November of 2010, I had started my own forum, DarcyandLizzy.com. Many readers followed me to this site to keep up with a story I had started posting online—Fitzwilliam Darcy An Honourable Man.
Several of my friends insisted that I publish the story and in April 2011 it became available on Amazon.com, followed by Mr. Darcy's Forbidden Love, Darcy and Elizabeth - A Most Unlikely Couple, Darcy and Elizabeth - A Promise Kept, Passages – A Pemberley Tale and Proof of Love - A Pemberley Tale. I also published a novelette: A Twist of Fate.
