Salem Gregg is not girlfriend material. Basically a live-in nanny for her lazy older sister’s kid, she’s the girl guys call when they have nothing better to do. Her grades are in the toilet, her lunatic mother just threw her out, and her best friend bailed to chase a concert tour.

Out of gas - and options - on the side of the road, Salem can’t see any way up from rock bottom. But one impulsive choice might be just the new beginning she’s been longing for.
