Gary Gregor was born in Curramulka - a small farming township in rural South Australia. He learned to escape into the wonderfully addictive world of fiction at an early age when introduced to hypnotic novels like Treasure Island and Huckleberry Finn.

He is a Vietnam veteran and a retired Northern Territory police officer who now lives with his wife Lesley in Yamba, a beautiful seaside town in northern New South Wales, Australia. When he and Lesley are not traveling the wide open spaces in Australia in their caravan, he writes almost daily.

Gary considers himself fortunate that his experiences in both the military and law enforcement have provided him with invaluable knowledge and the insight to continue writing crime fiction long into the future.
