Sam Russell is a writer, a blogger and a farmer. Born in London, UK, her family’s move to the English countryside ignited a passion for horses and a love of all things rural.

Before farming and writing, Sam worked as a secretary, a book-keeper and a riding instructor. She spent time teaching in Dubai before returning to the UK to marry a farmer and running her own stables while raising their children.
