For over 25 years, ABG ABDUL RAHIM ABG BERAWI (AARahim) has been a popular speaker on workplace soft skills and motivation in his home state of Sarawak, Malaysia. 

He has worked in various organisations, large (including Malaysia Airlines and the Holiday Inn Hotels) and small ones with a few start ups. His career-based experiences thus prompted him to preach soft skills training sessions.

AARahim assists organizations in improving their learning, motivation, creativity and thinking. His 'forte' programmes include  hospitality / customer-service orientation; developing internal trainers in his Creative Train-the-Trainer programmes; office administration; clerical skills development; business motivations; supervisory development; workplace leadership and operational management; executive development; team-building; negotiation; and, communication skills. 

AARahim has led numerous programmes for government organisations besides a number of public and private concerns. His strength and relevant experiences in soft skills, particularly in customer-service orientation, was given recognition when he was appointed by the Ministry of Tourism, Sarawak and the Sarawak Tourist Federation as the Chief Judge of the prestigious Sarawak Hornbill Tourism Awards Competition (Best Hotels Category) in 2000 and 2003. 

He has been engaged regularly by the Human Resources Development Fund of the Ministry of Human Resources, Malaysia as a panel trainer under their Special Programme for the East Malaysian states of Sabah and Sarawak.

His first two books - "Clerical Skills Development Programme" and "Don't Manage Your Operations Without Reading This Book First!" - were written based on his real-life career experiences and speaking / training engagements, spanning a combination of almost four decades!

More non-fiction books (business related) are expected to be in the pipeline for 2019. AARahim's next phase of skills-sharing is to become an international professional speaker.
