Zane Jackson is a retired special forces operator who is trying to forget his past. Now a mining engineer, he works all over the world. His girlfriend knows little about his past, and they live together on the beachfront in their quaint doer-upper.

One morning, their peaceful life ends when Zane gets a call from a person in his past military life, and all the dark memories return. Zane discovers that his girlfriend is related to his past… a fact which gets even more interesting at a meeting, where certain information is revealed.

Zane is persuaded to return to a mine in Zambia, on a mission to learn why extremely high percentages of high-grade uranium are present. But to do this, Zane insists that he work with his old handler: a lady with whom he shares a long and chequered past.

Instead of finding a uranium mine, Zane and his handler stumble on an underground narcotics farm—and discovers that his own family is involved. With this new information, Zane embarks on a journey of destruction through southern Africa.

Now along with his current mission, Zane must relive the memories of his past military career—and confront the deaths of his friends and loved ones.
