Alice Doty is a woman who gets by in life by working the London streets as a prostitute. One day however, she manages to catch the eye of a captain, who offers her free passage to the new world as a stowaway in return for her services.

Will this new world be the new start that Alice wanted more than anything? Or would it just be a continuation of the bitter life that she had grown accustomed to?

About the author

Paul Haedo

Paul Haedo is an author, poet, philosopher, and all-around free spirit, who enjoys writing and reading in his spare time. Paul believes that there is no limit to the number of topics that one can read and write about, an all-around jack of all trades reader and author is something to aspire to, not shy away from.

Such a sentiment is reflected throughout his work, in the many different topics that he writes about, in the different arguments that he proposes, and in the worlds that he creates. No matter the topic, or the book, Paul tackles it just the same; with an intense passion for wisdom, and a great desire to see others share in the wisdom and joy of reading and writing.
