Have you ever wondered what happens to you when you die? Who would you choose if you could only ever talk to one person ever again?

70-year-old Michael-James Matthews falls off the porch of his beloved home to his death. He opens his eyes not to find heaven or hell, but a woman who tells him she is an “afterlife manager.” The afterlife works differently than he would have ever imagined. He wasn’t religious, but he certainly expected something else.

He has to be a ghost now? Afterlife Capitalism? A God-like Supervisor? What was the world coming to?

He now has to pick only one person to haunt.

MJ should pick his husband or his daughter. He should make a thought-out choice that will affect him for decades.

He chooses his neighbor, Santiago De Luna. Sweet, Spanish, smart, and anxiety-riddled Santiago. The two were best friends for their entire life.
