Brittney True is a faith-based writer who explores romance, fantasy, action, and mystery. Her doctoral research  in Africana Studies at Brown University additionally informs her creative writing, particularly around themes of social life and death, intimacy, belonging, and trauma.  As a Black writer, she is dedicated both to the craft of storytelling and the necessary conversations strong narratives incite. Britt considers writing her ministry for the glory of God. Therefore, her greatest hope is, "through these stories, may you see God and know that He is good."
