Sonny Jones-Smith is a Writer, Producer, Comedian/Actor, Media Personality, Entrepreneur, Realtor, and Former Professional Basketball Player born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, and a graduate alum of Kenwood Academy High School. Sonny has an undergraduate Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Video & Film from (SCAD) Savannah College of Art & Design, where she also was a stellar student-athlete in Basketball achieving NCAA national rankings in rebounding and scoring. Sonny would also enroll in the Master's Program during her tenure at SCAD in Media & Performing Arts with an emphasis in Performance until overseas opportunities would lead her to exit grad school early to pursue her professional basketball career playing in Umea, Sweden and Reze, France as well as a few years of free agency stints with the ABL (the now-defunct American Basketball League) as well as the WNBA.

Sonny would eventually return to school and receive two Master's Degrees from Keller Graduate School of Devry University in Project Management and an MBA in Marketing with International Business studies. Sonny is currently enrolled in her first year of the law program at Taft Law School as a JD student. Sonny has also developed and built her own multimedia startup under the brand “LouddMouth” which specializes in creative marketing, branding, internet advertising, and online media networks under the LouddMouthRadio.com & LouddMouthTV brands over the last 10+ years. Notably recognized as the 1st African American Female to own and operate a comedy club/movie theatre in Georgia in the South Metro Atlanta area, called the “LouddMouth Screening Room” which at the time was only 1 of 4 black-owned comedy clubs in the U.S in operation. Her radio network LouddMouthradio.com has been running since 2014 with a strong market presence in the Southeast and has currently expanded into the West Coast areas. Sonny and her wife Jazzie Jones-Smith are also the owners of a growing home-based international travel business and currently work as a licensed Realtor team servicing the Los Angeles, San Diego, and Inland Empire areas of Southern California. Sonny and Jazzie have been married since March 2014.
