What is emotional abuse?
It is a way of controlling emotions, just as physical abuse is a way of subduing another. The perpetrator of emotional abuse uses emotions as a weapon to harm.

Most of the time, the victim of emotional abuse is unaware of the extent to which he or she is being abused. In fact, she may feel insecure about whether the person she loves really loves her and is compelled to blame him for having done something wrong and accuse him of being the cause of her unhappiness and to constantly monitor her text messages and voice, etc. These accusations, blaming and continuous monitoring are examples of emotional abuse.
